 In
partnership with Alex Sheshunoff Management Services, the School
offers an innovative program of advanced study leading to qualification
as a "Professional Master of Banking" to GSB graduates
and to chief executive officers of financial institutions.
This intensive three-session program focuses on management skills
essential to the success of high performance financial institutions.
The first session addresses pricing strategies, technology, changing
management styles, and re-engineering (Best Practices).
Evening lectures cover a variety of topics of interest to senior
bank managers. An interactive computer model dealing with managing
change will be introduced at the first session. In the second session
the School's professional faculty discuss strategic planning, skills
assessment, investment strategy, and sales culture. The final session
features a new bank simulation, presentation skills, report analysis,
and productivity.
To complete the entire course requires approximately 12 months.
Between sessions, participants return to their banks with an assignment
to implement a program or strategy learned at the School.
Time is set aside in the program to allow bankers to interact with
their peer groups to exchange ideas and to learn how high performing
financial institutions attain their goals. Class size is limited.
The School is held at the beautiful Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center in
